About the role
Reporting to the Senior Director, People & Culture, the People & Culture Business Partner supports specific business areas within the ALDO Group. The role is responsible for partnering with departments to achieve the people-related aspects of their business plans and objectives, while ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of corporate HR programs. The incumbent also coaches and supports managers on key leadership competencies and management best practices.
The supported departments are based at the Montreal Head Office. The People & Culture Business Partner will also have opportunities to participate in special projects aimed at improving HR processes or addressing the specific needs of the business areas they support.
Key Responsibilities
· Support and drive the full employee lifecycle.
· Partner with supported departments throughout the performance management process. Beginning in January, support managers in planning and conducting year-end performance reviews.
· Guide managers and employees in setting annual objectives.
· Support all managers involved in the compensation review process to ensure adherence to established guidelines and internal equity.
· Participate in the annual engagement survey rollout, analyze results, and follow up on employee engagement action plans.
· Coach and support managers on a broad range of HR-related matters.
· Contribute to the development of leadership and management capabilities based on business needs and engagement survey results.
· Advise and support managers in addressing performance issues and employee relations matters.
· Provide guidance and support during organizational restructurings.
· Analyze HR KPIs and recommend improvements based on business needs and trends.
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR programs and total rewards.
Requirements
· 5 to 7 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role.
· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
· Strong ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and recommend solutions aligned with HR best practices.
· Excellent knowledge of employment and labour laws.
· Proven ability to coach and influence managers.
· Results-oriented mindset.
· Ability to identify opportunities for strategic HR interventions.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneousl
