ROLE SUMMARY
The Digital & Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution and optimization of website content, promotions, and email marketing campaigns. This role drives revenue growth, customer engagement, and retention by managing the digital customer journey, ensuring seamless integration between site storytelling, promotional activations, and CRM/email initiatives.
Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, PR & Social Media, the Digital & Email Marketing Manager partners closely with Ecommerce, Merchandising, Brand, and CRM teams to deliver high-impact campaigns, flawless site execution, and best-in-class customer experiences. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and collaborative, thriving at the intersection of performance and storytelling. While the Director sets the website vision and direction, this role actively works to bring that vision to life and continuously evolves site content to reflect trends, results, and key product pushes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic — 20%
- Support the development and execution of digital content and email marketing strategies to drive conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Work closely with the Director to help evolve the website’s storytelling, ensuring content is dynamic, trend-responsive, and showcases key product pushes that reflect the brand’s fashion DNA.
- Partner with Brand, Ecommerce, and CRM teams to ensure integrated campaigns and consistent messaging across all digital touchpoints.
- Stay current on digital marketing and email best practices, leveraging new tools and trends to optimize performance.
Operational — 55%
- Manage daily website content updates, promotional launches, and site merchandising to ensure accuracy, impact, and dynamic storytelling.
- Organize and lead the creative briefing process for online execution, ensuring clear direction for designers, copywriters, and external partners.
- Build, QA, and launch email campaigns in alignment with the marketing calendar and promotional strategy.
- Oversee segmentation, personalization, and targeting strategies for email and site content.
- Conduct analysis for overall on-site performance and email marketing and ensure key wins and insights are shared with the wider team, with clear recommendations on next steps to better optimize and evolve the channel
- Execute onsite promotional activations, landing pages, navigation updates, and evergreen content refreshes.
- Conduct A/B testing on site and email elements (subject lines, content, send times, flows) to improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with CASL and other relevant regulations for email marketing.
- Maintain organized workback schedules and project timelines for flawless execution.
Leadership & Collaboration — 25%
- Act as the connective tissue across Ecommerce, CRM, Brand, Merchandising, and Digital teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Provide clear direction and feedback to cross-functional partners and agency teams.
- Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations for content, promotions, and email strategy.
- Support the development and documentation of best practices, processes, and training materials.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the digital marketing function.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, or CRM/email marketing, ideally in retail, fashion, or consumer brands.
- Hands-on experience with ESPs (Klaviyo, SAP Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar) and ecommerce platforms (Shopify or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, automation, and personalization.
- Proven track record of driving digital revenue growth and optimizing customer journeys.
- Experience with data analysis and drawing key insights to help drive performance
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with multiple teams.
