Role Summary
The Digital CoE Strategy Lead is responsible for driving alignment, execution, and governance across the Digital Center of Excellence (CoE). This role serves as the connective tissue across digital functions, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans, initiatives remain on track, and teams operate against a unified roadmap. Working closely with CoE leadership and pod leads, the Digital CoE Strategy Lead establishes operating rhythms, drives accountability, manages cross-functional dependencies, and provides executive-level visibility into performance, progress, and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the Digital CoE roadmap, ensuring alignment across all digital functions and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with CoE pod leads and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clearly defined ownership, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Establish and lead governance processes, operating rhythms, business reviews, roadmap reviews, and leadership updates to drive alignment and execution.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across ecommerce, marketplace, media, CRM, stores, customer experience, and post-purchase teams to ensure initiatives operate as a connected digital ecosystem.
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers that could impact delivery, ensuring issues are escalated early and decisions are made efficiently.
- Monitor progress against key priorities and hold stakeholders accountable for commitments, actions, and deliverables.
- Own CoE performance reporting by consolidating roadmap status, KPIs, risks, business outcomes, and strategic insights into executive-level reporting.
- Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, challenges, opportunities, and overall business impact.
- Create structure, clarity, and prioritization frameworks that help teams focus resources on the highest-value initiatives and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Drive follow-through on leadership decisions, ensuring discussions translate into measurable actions and tangible results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, program management, digital transformation, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a digital, ecommerce, retail, or omnichannel environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Experience developing governance frameworks, operational processes, and executive-level reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive accountability without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data and KPIs to support decision-making and measure performance.
- Experience working across digital commerce, customer experience, CRM, marketing, retail, or technology functions is considered an asset.
