Overview
The Planning Analyst supports the Planner and Planning Manager in driving sales performance and inventory productivity for ALDO North America. This role provides analytical, reporting, and operational support across in-season management and future planning activities, with a focus on data integrity, reporting, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create weekly and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and performance
- Keep reporting data accurate and up to date
- Support ad-hoc analysis for business and planning decisions
- Spot trends, risks, and opportunities and share insights with the Planner
- Help build and update seasonal budgets and forecasts
- Support assortment plans with guidance from the Planner
- Track results against plan and flag any variances
- Review weekly results and support sales and markdown forecasts
- Help manage open-to-buy tracking and updates
- Analyze inventory and product flow to maintain healthy stock levels
- Prepare files and templates for key planning milestones
- Maintain planning files, tools, and system updates
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and stay aligned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in retail, planning, allocation, or analytics
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with retail math
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience with Aptos, QuickSight, or SAP is a plus
