Overview
The Associate Reporting Analyst is responsible for analyzing and producing reports to provide insights that support business decisions. The analyst develops and maintain regular reports and dashboards as well as ad hoc analysis. The analyst needs to be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills to be able to navigate a large amount of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining regular reports to track retail performance metrics and KPIs.
- Conducting in-depth analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Communicating findings with management and cross-functional teams.
- Utilizing tools like Excel and Quick Sight, or similar platforms to create visual dashboards for clear and impactful presentations.
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency by managing database queries and validation processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, an asset.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Quick Sight, an asset.
- Knowledge of retail metrics and KPIs, especially in the fashion sector.
- Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex data.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
