The role

The Associate, Sales Manager is the main contact for a group of customers and operators and is responsible for the overall sales strategy.  This includes collaborating with the product team and giving them clear mandates based on clients’ needs and strategyThey must be knowledgeable of in-season performance and coordinate with clients on repeat opportunities and buy plans for upcoming seasons.   

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure client success through establishing a strong partnership, regular communication, and delivery of quality customer service. US travel will be part of building and maintaining the relationships.  

  • Responsible for achieving wholesale revenue targets for assigned projects. 

  • Accountable for in-season management of sales and inventory in order to drive revenues. 

  • Collaborate with Product Development to guide development based on client needs and feedback. 

  • Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of all buying tools: Calendars, Line sheets, Sales reports, market analysis etc.  

  • Manage working relationships with all internal support departments (logistics, Operations, COM, POM ) through regular touch bases. 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field 

  • Sales experience required. 

  • A well-rounded individual with exposure to buying, distribution, planning, supply chain and marketing. 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 

  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.  

  • Works well cross-functionally, both with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint
