We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roll-out retail and furniture design, with 5 years of industry experience. Additionally, the candidate should possess expertise in software customization, particularly with AutoCAD and Excel.
12 months contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and designers to develop detailed architectural plans and drawings for roll-out retail and furniture projects.
- Customize and optimize design workflows using AutoCAD and Excel.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure accurate project specifications.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, specifically in roll-out retail and furniture sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel, with experience in software customization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- This position requires fluency in both French and English as it involves communication with clients and stakeholders across Canada, including provinces where English is the primary language of business.
