As a Costing Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial backbone behind our product strategies. You’ll safeguard costing accuracy, elevate our financial insights, and partner with teams across the business to ensure every decision is grounded in strong, reliable data.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Impact
- Establish and enhance costing policies, processes, and controls across brands and channels.
- Champion continuous improvement to strengthen costing accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Deliver clear, value‑driven reporting on ELC vs. actuals, IMU performance, and system variances.
- Align cross‑functional teams to reduce discrepancies and move toward a unified costing view.
- Assess financial risks and opportunities tied to new business initiatives and sourcing strategies.
- Support system upgrades and FP&A process enhancements with a costing lens.
Operational Excellence
- Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate month‑end results and insightful variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for Supply Chain and Sourcing, including expenses and capital planning.
- Investigate account variances, validate reconciliations, and ensure timely journal entries.
- Lead monthly business reviews to provide visibility, challenge assumptions, and guide decisions.
- Conduct financial modeling for projects, investments, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Prepare presentations for leadership and perform monthly ELC audits with stakeholders.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Ensure costing processes are understood and followed across operational teams.
- Foster alignment through clear communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to team knowledge‑sharing.
- Participate in team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CFA/MBA is an asset but not required
- 7+ years of experience in financial accounting, FP&A, or related business roles.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of cost drivers and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with SAP BPC, SAP Financials, SAP EPM, AO, and BI tools.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for improving processes and driving results.
