Overview: The role will report directly to the Email & SMS Marketing Lead and will support day to day email and SMS execution for Sperry and G.H. Bass.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day email and SMS marketing activities, ensuring that campaigns are set up on schedule and meet quality assurance standards.
- Coordinate closely with the marketing, creative, and internal teams to gather content and assets for email campaigns.
- Maintain a high level of organisation and exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of campaign coordination and execution.
- Use the email marketing platform efficiently to set up and deploy campaigns, including audience segmentation, scheduling, and testing.
- Monitor and report on the performance of email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay updated on email and SMS marketing trends and best practices, implementing them to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth communication and collaboration across departments, supporting the overall marketing strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in email marketing or a similar digital marketing role, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
- Proficiency in using email marketing platforms (experience with Klaviyo an asset).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to analyse campaign performance data and derive actionable insights.
- Creative thinker with a customer-centric approach to marketing communications.
- Strong eye for visual presentation and brand consistency, with comfort working in design files (e.g., Figma or similar tools).
- This position requires fluency in both French and English as it involves communication with clients and stakeholders across Canada, including provinces where English is the primary language of business.
