The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the ALDO Group’s IT, HR, and Shared Services functions. You’ll partner with senior leaders to provide insights, guide decision‑making, and strengthen financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and brings a strong analytical mindset.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Responsibilities
- Provide financial insights on performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support annual budgeting, long‑term planning, and target setting.
- Build clear, actionable analyses to explain variances and business drivers.
- Evaluate financial impacts of new initiatives and support business cases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A tools, reporting, and processes.
Operational Responsibilities
- Support month‑end reporting, including executive highlight decks.
- Maintain and enhance BPC reports, templates, and system dimensions.
- Coordinate budget and forecast cycles for Direct, OH, and CAPEX spending.
- Lead monthly business reviews to support visibility and financial projections.
- Partner with Accounting to resolve variances and ensure timely close activities.
- Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests and support risk identification and mitigation.
- Promote best practices in financial and operational risk management.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with business partners and ensure alignment with Finance.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to business priorities.
- Manage personal objectives, development, and career growth.
What You Bring
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA an asset.
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or financial accounting.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with SAP BPC, SAP Financials, SAP EPM, AO, and BI tools.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
