The FP&A Supply Chain Business Partner acts as a key link between operations and financial performance. This role collaborates closely with supply chain teams to set financial targets, analyze results, and support decision‑making. The partner understands business drivers, financial systems, and works effectively with all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic (20%)
- Support enhancements to financial systems and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key financial indicators with the Supply Chain FP&A Manager.
- Build insightful financial reports (SAP‑BPC).
- Assess financial risks and impacts of new ideas.
- Contribute to special strategic projects.
Operational (60%)
- Lead budget and forecast activities, including variance analysis and capital planning.
- Support month‑end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Analyze KPIs for Supply Chain & Sourcing, isolating controllable performance.
- Prepare monthly business reviews and financial presentations.
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and simulations.
- Identify and manage financial risks.
Leadership (20%)
- Pursue and share professional development opportunities.
- Maintain strong communication between Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Manage personal objectives and development planning.
- Participate in team meetings and alignment discussions.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Finance/Business or professional designation (CPA, CFA, MBA).
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or financial accounting.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Skills & Personal Qualities
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- High intellectual curiosity and process‑improvement mindset.
- Solid understanding of variance analysis, accounting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP BPC, SAP Financials/EPM, BI tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
