Overview

 

Reporting to the Marketing Director MEA & EU, the Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the GTM (go-to-market) planning and marketing strategy for ALDO’s key franchise partners. The person will be responsible for keeping track of projects in accordance with our GTM schedule, researching market insights, coordinating with external agencies, and collaborating with internal teams, franchise as well as wholesale partners to drive the Brand and help achieve our key objectives regionally and globally.

 

The ideal candidate is well-organized, structured and results and solutions oriented, highly analytical, diplomatic, thrives by being in the action, can build relationships in cross functional teams, and has marketing experience on the Brand or on the Agency side. The role also requires strong business acumen, digital knowledge and exceptional communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

Lead Marketing Projects & MEA Territory Brand Calendar

 

  • Collaborate with coordinators, Account Managers, S&Ops and Brand teams to develop the critical path for seasonal campaigns and regional activations, and ensure that projects are executed in a timely fashion
  • Perform research to gather market insights and share competitive analysis with the team monthly
  • Synergize with the commercial leads to developing clear briefs for strategy, creative and production teams in line with our objectives
  • Build post-mortems from regional activations to gather insights and feed future briefs
  • Lead regional productions with external agencies to ensure smooth rollout of local campaigns with a 360 approach, taking into consideration cultural nuances
  • Develop brief to deliver marketing assets to our partners on time
  • Create marketing execution guides and commercialization strategy presentations to ensure execution excellence and enable our partners to brief their media agencies and distribute their budgets in line with our objectives
  • Participate in the production of our seasonal market week events by working with operations and brand to create impactful presentations to our franchise and wholesale partners for our selling of the new collection

 

Work closely with franchise and wholesale partners as well as AGI Executive team on special projects 

 

  • Collaborate across AGI and with Brand teams to improve processes related to brand and marketing 
  • Support analysis of special projects, process improvements and cross functional projects 
  • Work on upskilling, training and knowledge transfer to partner network

 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business / marketing 
  • Excellent written & verbal French and English skills considering constant communications with our international clients. Speaking other languages will also be considered a plus.
  • +5 years of professional experience in Marketing with an international brand or retailer
  • Good knowledge in media planning, negotiation, execution and optimization of all marketing channels
  • Experience in digital / e-commerce (retail experience an asset, digital native is a must)
  • Knowledge in Google Analytics and Facebook business manager
  • Great understanding of key factors that impact brand awareness, traffic and conversion
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Strong work ethic, autonomous, flexible and creative, able to adapt to evolving business needs 
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to perform under tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail 
  • Externally focused, people person, service leadership obsessed, able to manage multiple accounts / partners.
