Overview
The Supply Management team plays a critical role in bringing ALDO Group’s collections to market. Supporting the Go‑To‑Market calendar, this team owns the end‑to‑end process—from final customer orders to purchase order approval—ensuring flawless execution at every stage of the release.
As a Purchase Order Administrator, you will act as a mini project manager, taking ownership of a portion of each product release. You’ll serve as a key connection point between internal partners and global suppliers while leveraging Excel‑driven analysis and reporting to support data‑based decision making and smooth execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, validate, and release purchase orders accurately and on time to meet critical deadlines.
- Build, analyze, and maintain reports using advanced Excel tools (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) to track release progress and identify risks or issues.
- Own your designated portion of the release cycle, from contract creation through purchase order acceptance by suppliers.
- Monitor milestones and proactively follow up on potential issues to ensure a smooth purchase order release.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders in Montreal and overseas, as well as with suppliers, via email and virtual meetings.
- Work closely with team leads and peers to ensure all activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Qualifications
- College or university degree.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Extremely organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑focused, with strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and ownership.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a team‑oriented approach.
- Positive attitude with a genuine eagerness to learn and grow.
- Knowledge of SAP FMS is considered an asset.
