As our Buyer, you’ll help bring that vision to life. You’ll combine trend awareness, analytical thinking, and product passion to build assortments that feel fresh, relevant, and commercially strong.
This role is for someone who loves product, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and understands how to turn insights into impactful assortment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising & Collection Performance

Track weekly KPIs including sales, GM, sell‑through, and weeks of supply.

Analyze collection performance by silhouette, material, colourway, price tier, region, and channel.

Identify early winners and underperformers; recommend reorders, SKU adjustments, or markdown strategies.

Build clear KPI dashboards and weekly trading reports highlighting risks, opportunities, and next steps.

Lead seasonal hindsight reviews for capsules, core collections, and trend stories; apply learnings to future assortments.

Partner with planning/allocation on buy quantities, forecasting, and in‑season reorders.

Review competitive pricing and promotional activity to contextualize category performance.
Buying Support

Build and structure seasonal assortment plans aligned with brand strategy and consumer needs.

Balance assortment by attributes, trend stories, and product categories.

Create and maintain costing files, margin analyses, and competitive value comparisons.

Manage sample coordination, organization, and product archives.
Market & Trend Intelligence

Monitor the competitive landscape through store checks, social listening, and online assortment reviews.

Track shifts in silhouettes, materials, comfort technologies, and broader footwear trends.

Translate market insights into actionable opportunities.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Communicate daily with PO management on order accuracy and delivery timelines.

Align with allocation, planning, visual merchandising, ecommerce, and logistics to ensure flawless product launches.

Support storytelling and assortment presentations with strong visual materials.
Requirements
-
Degree or diploma in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, Retail, or related field.

1–2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, planning, or allocation (footwear experience is a strong asset).
Skills

Strong fashion sense with a deep interest in footwear trends, construction, and consumer behavior.

Exceptional analytical skills; able to translate data into clear insights and decisions.

Highly organized with strong communication skills and high attention to detail.

Ability to balance creativity with commercial decision‑making.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Passion for footwear, product storytelling, and staying ahead of fashion culture.

Knowledge of the US market is an asset.
